Position: SUPERVISORY FIREFIGHTER with Security Clearance
Duties
* you will be responsible for the operation of fire stations, and the maintenance and upkeep of fire apparatus and equipment.
* you will conduct completion of preliminary fire investigations on all fire appearing to have significant damage.
* you will work daily with other fire protection division officers on matters pertaining to the operation of the division on day to day operations, resolving work problems and coordinating efforts.
* you will prepare, review and check all pertinent fire protection division correspondence, reports and records.
* you will attend meeting with public works personnel when planning building and structures in order to ensure compliance with existing fire code. Requirements conditions of employment

* you will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.

* this position requires rotating shift work and is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
* you will be required to possess and maintain the following certifications: airport firefighter, fire inspector ii, fire instructor ii, fire officer iii, hazardous material incident- commander, and emergency medical technician. Qualifications your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the gs-09 grade level or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector overseeing the operation of fire stations, and maintenance of fire equipment;

and conducting fire investigations on fires with significant damage.
