We are looking for an experienced Body Shop Technician at our Chevy Dealership, located in Kingman, AZ. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an automotive family, centered around customer experience and putting its employees in positions for success.

Responsibilities
  • Inspect damaged vehicles to assess repair needs and determine proper procedures.
  • Remove and replace damaged parts, including panels, bumpers, and frames, with precision.
  • Straighten vehicle frames and align structural components using specialized equipment.
  • Prep surfaces by sanding, masking, and cleaning to ensure high-quality paint application.
  • Apply primers, paints, and clear coats following manufacturer specification for durability.
  • Utilize welding and specialty tools for metal repairs and reinforcement tasks while adhering to safety standards.
  • Perform quality control checks to verify repairs meet safety and aesthetic standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace to support efficiency and hazard reduction.
  • Stay updated on automotive repair technology, tools and industry regulations.
Education and Experience Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED; technical or automotive training preferred.
  • Enjoy working in a team environment and have an upbeat and positive outlook.
  • Dedicated, reliable, and have a clean driving record.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Expertise in metalworking, painting, and vehicle restoration.
  • Precision in measuring, alignment, and use of diagnostic tools.
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools, welding equipment, and paint machine technology.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to interpret repair manuals and customer specifications.
Position Type and Expected Work Hours

Full‑time, Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm.

Travel

Travel may be required to attend meetings, training, or presentations; expected to be less than 25% of the time.
