Kingman Unified School District #20 invites you to apply for the following certified teaching position for the 2026‑27 school year.
Responsibilities and ExpectationsAs a KUSD teacher, you can expect a supportive environment, professional development opportunities, work‑life balance with 4‑day weeks and 13 weeks off, employee health insurance with full premiums for some benefits, and a retirement pension through Arizona State Retirement System with District matching of 100% contributions.
Compensation- Base Pay: The base wages are determined by the district’s contracted salary and state‑funded Prop 301 money. Salary ranges:
- Up to four years of experience: $45,575 – $55,475
- Four or more years of experience: $47,575 – $57,475
- Performance Pay: Eligible for an additional $4,500 in Prop 301 performance pay.
- One‑Time Critical Needs Stipends (pending teaching certification):
- Math, science, kindergarten: $2,000 stipend
- Special education: $5,000 stipend
- Annual Stipends (pending teaching certification):
- Special education case management stipend up to $4,000 FY 2026‑27
- Special education in ED‑P classrooms: $10,000 stipend FY 2026‑27
- High school diploma or equivalent and an identity‑verified print (IVP) fingerprint clearance card through Arizona Department of Public Safety, or ability to obtain prior to start date.
- Teaching certification through Arizona Department of
Education:
CTE Health Careers, K‑12 Certificate. - SEI, ESL, or bilingual endorsement issued by Arizona Department of Education within one year of hire.
- Alternative pathway:
Bachelor’s or higher degree and enrollment in an approved teacher preparation program to obtain an Alternative Teaching Certificate.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
