Job Description:

Weareseekingan experienced, spiritually grounded educational leader to guide our school program.

The principal will provide visionary, spiritual, and academic leadership, supportfacultyand staff, and strengthen the Academy’s sense of mission and community.

This full-time position includes administrative responsibilities andinstructiontime.

CCA is an independent, interdenominational Christian school that is currently serving about 115 students from K-12, and operates on a4 daywork week.

  Christian, with active participation in a local church
• The ability to lead by example, modeling Christ-like character and values in all aspects of life and work; putting God first, students second, and administration third
• Proven experience in educational leadership, preferably in a Christian school setting
• Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively and the ability to build relationships with students, parents, faculty, staff, board members,and the wider community
• ABachelor of Education degree, and an AB teacher’s certificate;plusaleadership certificate issued under the Certification of Teachers and Teacher Leaders Regulation,(or willingnesstoobtainin a reasonabletimeframe).
• Minimum 5 years teaching experience, preferably in a Christian school setting
• A master’s degree in education, educational leadership, or a related field is preferred
• Willingness to attend all board meetings,report on all aspects of the school, and implement the policies of the board.
