Kingman Unified School District #20 in Kingman, AZ invites you to apply for the certified teaching position of 4th Grade Teacher for the 2026-27 school year.

Position: 4th Grade Teacher

Campus: Manzanita Elementary

School Year: July 8, 2026 - May 19, 2027

Compensation
  • Base Pay
    :
    Salary ranges are determined by years of experience and higher education. The contracted salary plus $8,500 in Prop 301 money creates the base wages for teachers;
    Prop 301 money is paid separately and not included in the employment contract.
  • Salary range for up to four years of teaching experience: $45,575 - $55,475.
  • Salary range for four or more years of teaching experience: $47,575 - $57,475.
  • Performance Pay
    :
    Eligible for an additional $4,500 in Prop 301 performance pay.
  • One‑Time Critical Needs Stipends (pending certification):
    • Math, science, or kindergarten: $2,000 stipend.
    • Special education: $5,000 stipend.
  • Available Annual Stipends (pending certification):
    • Special Education teachers: case management stipend up to $4,000 for FY 2025-26.
    • Special Education teachers in ED-P classrooms: stipend up to $10,000 for FY 2025-26.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or more advanced degree from an accredited institution.
  • Identity Verified Print (IVP) fingerprint clearance card through Arizona Department of Public Safety, or ability to obtain prior to start date.
  • Teaching certification through Arizona Department of

    Education:

    Standard Professional Elementary, K-8.
  • SEI, ESL, or Bilingual Endorsement issued by Arizona Department of Education, within one year of hire.

Arizona offers an alternative path to certification for those with a Bachelor's or more advanced degree. Individuals pursuing a teaching career through this alternative pathway must enroll in an Arizona Department of Education approved teacher preparation program and obtain an Alternative Teaching Certificate to be eligible for hire.
