JOB SUMMARY

The Full-Time Life & Workforce Readiness Manager is responsible for developing programs, activities, andservicesthatprepare youthandteensforsuccessbycreatingasafeandpositive

Club environment that facilitates achievement and results in designated outcomes.

Responsibilities include:

Club operations, program management, supervision of members, recruitment, maintaining community partnerships, facilitating life & workforce readiness programming in collaboration with AZ Youth force, supportingoutreacheffortsinschools,andsupervisionofanypart-time

Youth Development Specialists  that are tied specifically to teen programming.

JOB RESPONSBILITIES
  • Ensuresthesafetyandsecurityofstaff,members,volunteers,facility,and Club assets
  • Supportsannualrecruitment,member retention,andattendancegoals
  • Supportscollaborativerelationshipswithcommunitypartners,Middle School sand High Schools
  • Opensandclosesthe Club;providedirectsupervisionduringoperatinghours
  • Leadsandimplementsplanning,development,andevaluationof

    Clubprogramsandservicesto ensure they meet priority outcomes and member needs
  • Promotesandstimulatesmembersinterestandparticipationin Club-wide programs,including support for Middle and High School programming that creates a pathway for teen program involvement
  • Tracksteenattendanceandparticipationdata
  • Maintainsproductiveandeffectiveworkingrelationshipswithparents,organizationstaffand management in accomplishing goals and objectives
  • Fosterssupportiveandhealthyinteractionsformembers anddevelopsa

    Clubculturethat includes physical and emotional safety, respect, inclusion, and free of bullying
  • Incollaboration withAZYouthforce,facilitates

    Life&Workforce Readinessprogrammingwith attending Club Members, students at partnering schools, and youth workers
  • Interviewsandtrainsyouthworkersonprogramexpectations,safety guidelines,andyouth engagement techniques
  • Supervises,mentors,andprovidesguidancetoyouthworkerstoensureasafeandpositive environment for children
  • Conduct check-inswithyouthworkerstoassesstheirperformance,address concerns,andoffer professional development
  • Facilitatescareerandjobfairs
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE,LICENSUREand CERTIFICATION
  • Mustbeatleast
    21yearsofage
  • Mustpossessahighschooldiplomaorequivalencycertificateand6 youth development or related experience
  • Must obtain/maintainacurrentCPR&First Aid certification(within first
    90daysof employment)
  • Musthaveandmaintainavalid Arizona driver'slicense
KNOWLEDGE,ABILITY and SKILLS
  • Workingknowledgeoffederalandstatelawsandcompanypoliciesandprocedures
  • Abilitytooverseethephysicalpropertyandassetsofthe Club
  • Knowledgeofvehiclestoensurethattheyarealwaysoperating safely
  • Knowledge of Youth Developmentservicedelivery
  • Abilitytomaintainandcultivateexcellentmember/familyandcommunityrelationships and possess excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to interact effectively and communicate (in writing and orally) with a variety of members,localgovernmententities,neighborhood groups,agencies,schools,volunteers,and teens
  • Abilitytorepresentandmakepresentationstoschools,andlocalpartneragenciesasneeded
  • Proficientskillsintheuseof Microsoft Office software ,including

    Outlook,Word,and Excel
  • Familiaritywithprinciplesandpracticesofsupervision
  • Abilitytocommunicatewithparents,maintainconfidentialityandengageinrespectful interactions
  • Ability to articulate for giving, serve as an ambassador, engage in relationship building and promote philanthropy
  • Abilitytosupporttheefficiencyof Volunteersandfuture workforceneedstosupportvolunteer program operations
WORKINGCONDITIONSand DRIVING
  • TravelbetweenBGCAZBranches,schoolsandcommunitysitesisrequired.

    Mustmeetthe insurance standards of BGC
  • Workisperformedin Branchesandinthecommunity
  • Evening or weekend hours required on an as needed basis
