We're on the hunt for a passionate and seasoned Environmental Services Worker to add some sparkle to our healthcare facility. Responsibilities- Commandeer the outdoors, sweeping away any unwelcome debris at entryways.
- Embrace the skill of floor care, sweeping and mopping your way to a sparkling environment.
- Conquer surfaces, wiping down countertops, desks, and other areas with precision.
- Gather and launder soiled linens.
- Dive into the challenge of creating sanitary and infection-free realms by cleaning bathrooms and resident rooms.
- Fearlessly handle human waste and bodily fluids, following the rules of infection control and sanitation.
- Empty trash containers, ensuring no remnants of chaos linger.
- Replenish supplies, restocking linens and other necessities.
- Maintain and store cleaning equipment in its rightful place.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in environmental services, preferably a healthcare facility
- 6 months of professional cleaning experience preferred
- Obtain and maintain CPR certification
- Ability to obtain and maintain DPS Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Physically able to stand and move during the length of shift; able to twist, bend and kneel through shift; able to pick up debris from the floor
- Must be able to work with chemicals, infectious waste, diseases and communicable diseases.
- Regularly required to talk, hear and read.
- Must be able to carry up to 50 pounds
- Friendly polite and courteous demeanor
