Job Summary
We have an opportunity for a Line Operator in the Extrusion plant located in Kingman, AZ. Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, the successful candidate will operate extrusion machines and related equipment for fittings production. The duties include ensuring safety, product quality, production output, housekeeping, and cost control to achieve plant goals. Rotating day shifts are available from 7am to 7pm and night shifts from 7pm to 7am.
Job Responsibilities- Maintain a safe work environment through training, adherence to policies, and housekeeping.
- Perform inspection activities using a PI table, micrometer, and ovality gauges; efficiently execute skin testing, impact testing, and quality inspections.
- Detect and assist in resolving quality issues; investigate any product deemed non‑conforming.
- Adjust the extrusion process, including wall thickness, barrel and die temperatures, and diameter adjustments.
- Maintain the line, including cleaning of vents.
- Collaborate and assist with production material trials and new products.
- Monitor and maintain output and run conditions to specified standards.
- Complete accurate documentation and meet quality requirements.
- Perform other duties as delegated.
Minimum 18 years of age plus completion of high school education or equivalent. Ability to use basic hand tools and operate a forklift. Successful candidate must complete a background check and drug screening.
Working ConditionsRequires high mobility with routine walking, standing, reaching, twisting, bending, climbing, and lifting 50–75 lbs. Fast‑paced environment needing sensory attention. Personal safety is affected by exposure to heat, cold, dust, noise levels, and the use of sharp tools.
