About SCORE

SCORE is America's premier source of free and confidential small business advice for entrepreneurs and small businesses. As a nonprofit resource partner with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), SCORE operates more than 300 offices across the country and relies on 10,000 volunteers to provide free business mentoring and low‑ or no‑cost workshops.

For over 50 years, SCORE’s volunteers—business professionals both active and retired—have supported the success of small business nationwide. Business mentoring through SCORE is free, confidential, and available in person, via email or by video. Volunteers also share expertise across industries, provide free business tools, templates and tips online, and host inexpensive or free local workshops and online webinars.

Every SCORE chapter depends on the talent and time of volunteers to help entrepreneurs achieve their dreams. We are currently looking for volunteers to work on specific projects. Roles are staffed based on individual skills and are welcome to assist with leadership and chapter support tasks. Volunteers may sharpen their email marketing, networking and social media skills while contributing to their local business community.

Volunteers who have an interest in data and analytics may pull reports, help with local events, or serve in other capacities that increase the effectiveness of the local chapter.
