Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Med/Surg RN with an AZ or compact license for night shifts in a hospital setting.
Responsibilities- Work in a hospital Medical Surgical (Med/Surg) unit
- Night shift, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- 13-week assignment
- Meditech charting system is used, with experience highly preferred
- Travel pairs are accepted
- Online modules are required and included as part of orientation
- Med/Surg RNs are expected to provide comprehensive care to a diverse adult patient population
- RTO (requested time off) must be submitted with application
- Travelers may work in pairs
- First-time travelers will be considered
- Active AZ or compact RN license required
- Recent Med/Surg nursing experience in a hospital setting required
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Experience with Meditech EMR highly preferred
- Must provide copies of driver’s license and Social Security card for consideration
- Former permanent employees must wait 12 months before returning as travelers
