Job SummaryAs a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in our Primary Care setting, you’ll provide hands‑on, full‑spectrum medical care to a diverse patient population. From managing chronic diseases to diagnosing acute illnesses, you’ll play a pivotal role in keeping your community healthy. This role offers a meaningful mix of autonomy and team collaboration in a well‑established outpatient setting.
Job Duties & Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive physical exams and interpret lab and diagnostic results
- Diagnose and treat acute conditions and minor injuries
- Manage chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, obesity, and heart disease
- Create evidence‑based treatment plans tailored to patient needs and histories
- Deliver compassionate, thorough care that addresses physical and emotional well‑being
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and nursing staff to coordinate care
- Educate patients and families about diagnoses, medications, side effects, and lifestyle changes
- Refer patients to specialists or coordinate hospital care as necessary
- Document all encounters and procedures in compliance with clinical and regulatory standards
- Conduct preventive screenings and engage in wellness promotion activities
- Stay current with continuing education and clinical best practices
- Maintain strict patient confidentiality and uphold all HIPAA regulations
- Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in Arizona
- Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program
- DEA certification preferred
- No history of malpractice; must meet eligibility for payer credentialing
