Position: Exploration Field Technician – Drill Support

About the Role

We are supporting an active mineral exploration program in western Arizona and are seeking an Exploration Field Technician – Drill Support to join a field team working across multiple drill sites near Bagdad.

This role provides direct, hands‑on support to drilling and geology teams and is central to daily exploration execution. Field Technicians in this program are trusted with core handling, logistics, and accurate data tracking and are expected to operate with a high degree of independence once trained.

The work environment is remote, physical, and practical. Team members are valued for reliability, attention to detail, and their ability to adapt to changing field conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and document drill core at active drill pads
  • Measure, track, and transport core boxes to core facilities
  • Support drill pad setup, staking, and site preparation
  • Deliver fuel, water, and consumables to drill sites
  • Maintain access roads, laydown areas, and general site organization
  • Enter recovery data, material logs, and site updates accurately
  • Communicate clearly with drill crews and supervisors via radio and mobile tools
  • Follow all MSHA/OSHA and site‑specific safety protocols
Skills & Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license; 4x4 driving experience preferred
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work extended outdoor shifts
  • Comfortable working in rugged desert terrain
  • Dependable, safety‑focused, and detail‑oriented
  • Basic data entry and communication skills
Schedule & Compensation
  • Typical rotations of 8–10 days on / 5–7 days off
  • Day shift, 10–12 hours depending on program needs
  • Competitive hourly pay (DOE) with overtime
