Heavy Duty Diesel Technician - Service Department - Kingman, AZ

About the Role

Velocity Vehicle Group (VVG) is a premium commercial vehicle dealership seeking experienced heavy duty diesel technicians to join the service team in Kingman, AZ.

Heavy Duty Diesel Technicians diagnose truck problems and perform repairs, create repair plans, fill parts requisitions, and tag warranty parts. They maintain clean and safe workstations, communicate updates to foreman, and must maintain efficiency ratings of 85% or above.

• D-Level Technician: Perform basic chassis and engine repairs; remove & install chassis components; perform preventative maintenance; competent in internal/factory warranty processes.
• C-Level Technician: Basic diagnostic skills; comfortable with major vendor/factory repairs; perform most chassis and engine repairs; perform complete engine remove & install.
• B-Level Technician: Advanced diagnostics; complete engine repairs within SRT time; complex chassis repairs within SRT time; knowledgeable on all component repairs; HVAC.
• A-Level Technician: Proficient on all component repairs; diagnose all failures; root cause analysis; vibration analysis; aftertreatment repairs & diagnostics.

• Must lift up to 50 pounds at times.
• Must pass post-offer drug screening, physical exam (incl. lift test), and background check.

• $25–$45 hourly based on experience and qualifications.
