Rate: 1st 8 hours per day Monday to Friday - £24.00 per hour // Over 8 hours and Saturday - £34.00 per hour // Sunday £45.00 per hour PAYE rates

Job Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Pipefitter to join our team on an industrial project. The role involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of stainless and carbon steel pipework ranging from 1 to 12 inches in diameter. The successful candidate will work in accordance with technical drawings, site specifications, and industry standards to ensure safe and efficient pipe systems on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret isometric drawings, P&IDs, and fabrication sketches.
- Measure, cut, bend, and thread pipe using hand and power tools.
- Install and secure pipe systems, supports, valves, and fittings.
- Fabricate pipe spools and install to specified dimensions and tolerances.
- Carry out hot and cold work on stainless and carbon steel pipework (1"12").
- Conduct hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure tests to ensure system integrity.
- Work closely with welders, riggers, and other trades on-site to coordinate installation.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
- Complete daily reports and liaise with supervisors on job progress.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a pipefitter in an industrial or construction environment.
- Strong knowledge of stainless and carbon steel pipework (1"12").
- Ability to work from detailed technical drawings.
- Proficient in using pipe fitting tools and machinery.
- Understanding of pressure testing and pipe system integrity checks.
- CSCS or equivalent (Required).
- NVQ Level 3 in Pipe fitting or equivalent (Preferred).
- Ability to work at height and in confined spaces if required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
