Job Description Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineer

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Vacancy Type: Full time, permanent (40 hours per week)

About the Role

Klimatech is looking for an experienced and motivated Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer to join our growing team.

The role involves PPM, servicing and fault-finding across refrigeration, AC, water chillers and process equipment. You will travel to customer sites and participate in the call-out rota.

Sites are mainly across Lincolnshire, Cambridgeshire and Norfolk, with occasional travel further afield when required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out PPM on commercial and industrial refrigeration equipment.
  • Carry out PPM on air conditioning equipment.
  • Carry out PPM on water chillers.
  • Carry out PPM on process equipment.
  • Attend service and breakdown calls for refrigeration equipment.
  • Attend service and breakdown calls for air conditioning equipment.
  • Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently and professionally.
  • Complete service reports and paperwork.
  • Maintain a professional approach with customers.
  • Participate in call-out cover when required.
Skills / Qualifications
  • Experience in refrigeration and air conditioning engineering.
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated, reliable and organised.
  • Friendly and professional approach.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willing to travel and work away when required.
  • Relevant qualifications and F-Gas certification .
