Service Engineer

Location:

Adcock King's Lynn

Salary:

Hours:

40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm

Contract:

full time, permanent

What could you learn?

We have our own, bespoke City and Guilds accredited training centre. Last year, we delivered training to 117 engineers on service and maintenance, commissioning, brazing, refrigeration, water chillers, and more.

We believe strongly in providing training for our employees and courses are constantly reviewed and developed, allowing us to stay up to date with current technology and ways of working.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnosing, fault-finding, and fixing problems at client sites.
  • Support industrial and commercial premises including food processing, offices, pharmaceuticals, domestic sites, and more.
  • Primarily handle air conditioning, with some refrigeration on varying scales.
  • Utilise the latest manufacturers’ training and technical support from top brands such as Danfoss, Mitsubishi, Daikin, Panasonic and Fujitsu.
  • Use a high-spec van and tablet for job management, service sheets, etc.
  • Work in a busy, sometimes pressurised environment while leaning on a supportive, highly skilled, experienced team.

Requirements
  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience as a mobile air-conditioning service engineer.
  • Hold Refrigerant handling C&G2079 (or equivalent) and a full UK driving licence.
  • NVQ2 level industry-specific training qualification is an added advantage.
  • Pass confidential criminal record checks (advanced DBS) required for customer sites such as schools or hospitals.
