Warehouse Material Handler

Permanent Full Time Material Handler – Kings Mountain, North Carolina

Ryder is immediately hiring a Permanent Full Time Material Handler for our facility in Kings Mountain, North Carolina. This role focuses on warehouse operations, including loading, picking, packing, shipping, and receiving. You will operate forklifts, use automated packing systems, and support cycle counting.

Hourly Pay: $18.35 per hour. Positions are paid weekly.

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience (preferred)
• Valid Forklift Operator's License
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work within a diverse work environment and create professional relationships at all levels
• Highly thorough and dependable with strong attention to detail
• Punctual with a good attendance record
• High degree of initiative and accuracy, even under pressure
• Physical ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs, stand for long periods, and use health and safety methods
• Availability for flexible scheduling across various shifts

• Perform warehouse functions: loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
• Adhere to performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Ensure accurate picking, packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and truck loading/unloading
• Handle day‑to‑day paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours
• Perform additional duties as assigned
