Electrical Machine Assembler
Required to assemble and pack parts according to routers in preparation for shipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Works according to shipping schedule and routers.
- Uses hand tools such as pipe wrench, wrenches, impact drill, chop saw, and panel saw.
- Assembles the panel onto the machine.
- Does final cleaning of machines prior to shipment.
- Does final visual check of all machines prior to packaging.
- Assembles crates from plywood for international shipping.
- Covers machinery with shrink wrap prior to shipping.
This job has no supervisory responsibilities. Backup when lead is out of office.
SafetyObserves safety and security procedures; reports potentially unsafe conditions; uses equipment and materials properly.
Education and/or ExperienceHigh school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer SkillsKnowledge of manufacturing software.
Physical DemandsRegularly required to stand, walk, use hands, reach, talk or hear; frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; occasionally required to sit and climb; lift 50 pounds and move up to 100 pounds with a pallet jack; requires color vision. Noise level usually moderate; occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions.
