Pay: $20.00 per hour plus $2.50 shift premium
Schedule:
Sunday – Thursday | 7:00 PM – 5:30 AM
Overtime:
Fridays and Saturdays as production dictates
We are seeking dependable and motivated Assemblers to join our manufacturing team in Kings Mountain, NC. As an Assembler, you will play a critical role in producing high-quality products by performing assembly and fabrication tasks in a safe, efficient, and team-oriented manufacturing environment. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work and take pride in producing quality results.
Key Responsibilities- Set up and perform simple and complex assembly and fabrication operations on benches, floor fixtures, or progressive manufacturing lines
- Follow process work instructions to assemble products accurately and efficiently
- Operate a variety of hand tools and power tools safely
- Perform product inspections according to inspection instructions and quality standards
- Operate manual production equipment including spot welders, tack welders, gas welders, plasma cutters, sealer guns, spray guns, sanders, and grinders as assigned
- Utilize measuring tools to verify product specifications
- Properly handle hazardous waste generated during production in accordance with company procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Support a team-oriented environment while meeting production and quality goals
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Team Leader, Supervisor, or Manager
- High school diploma or GED
- Basic math, reading comprehension, and communication skills
- Basic understanding of industrial safety practices
- Ability to read and follow work instructions
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable attendance and dependable work ethic
- 1–2 years of manufacturing or production experience
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment
- Previous experience in assembly or fabrication
- Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
