Minimum Experience/

Education:

Combination of training and experience to perform job duties

• Bachelor's level training in biology, environmental science, hydrology, natural resources, or related field
• Experience conducting field-work in environmental discipline through previous positions or coursework
• Comfortable working on large water bodies (rivers, lakes, reservoirs)

• Experience with electrofishing, working on watercraft, and acoustic telemetry
• Experience with scientific technical writing/editing
• Experience with basic data analysis and R programming
• Boating experience

• Valid driver's license

Valid NC Driver's License required? Yes

Commercial Driver's License Required? No

Anticipated Hiring Range: $18-$20/hr
