City of Kings Mountain seeks a Fleet Mechanic II to perform skilled mechanical work on a variety of city vehicles and equipment, using diagnostic tools and diesel repair skills under regular supervision.
Responsibilities include repairing brakes, ignition, fuel systems, transmissions, tires, and electrical systems; performing preventative maintenance; welding; and road calls to keep the fleet operating safely.
