Material Handler Warehouse

Position Overview

Ryder is hiring a Permanent Full‑Time Material Handler in Kings Mountain, NC.

Hourly pay: $18.35 per hour (paid weekly).

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• At least one (1) year of related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience (preferred).
• Valid Forklift Operator’s License.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships at all levels.
• Highly thorough, dependable, punctual, with good attendance.
• Performs work independently with minimal supervision; high initiative.
• Demonstrates a high level of accuracy under pressure.
• Can lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs; stand for long periods.
• Works using health and safety methods; flexible shift schedule.
• Detail‑oriented with excellent follow‑up practices.

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Adhere to performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
• Accurately pick, pack, audit, tote‑induct, stage products, and load/unload trucks.
• Handle day‑to‑day paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.).
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hour of production.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
