Member Services Representative – Kingsland, GA

Pay: $11.00 - $11.50 per hour.

This position will be responsible for creating a positive member experience by providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests.

Responsibilities
  • Greet members, prospective members and guests, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Handle all front desk related activities including answering phones, checking members into the system, conducting tours, signing up new members and calculating rates and monthly payment amounts.
  • Assist the Club Manager with counting the drawer as needed.
  • Facilitate updates to member accounts.
  • Respond to member questions and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating to Assistant Manager or Club Manager as necessary.
  • Maintain the neatness and cleanliness of the club, completing daily assigned tasks within the first hour of your shift, the priority cleaning list each day, walk‑around and bathroom checks periodically, and any special cleaning projects as required.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities based on club needs.
Qualifications
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Customer service background preferred.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Excellent punctuality and reliability.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Positive, upbeat attitude and passion for fitness and health.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, able to interact in a positive and professional way with members and co‑workers, exceeding members’ expectations.
  • Strong listening ability with empathy and problem‑solving skills.
  • Demonstrates diplomacy and appropriate behavior and language in all interactions.
Physical Demands
  • Continual standing and walking during shift.
  • Continual talking in person or on the phone during shift.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
  • May encounter toxic chemicals during shift.
