Amentum is currently seeking for a Transportation Dispatcher to support a government contract based in Kings Bay, Georgia.

Under direct supervision, receives and records radio, telephone, personal messages, and instructions involving emergencies, complaints, accidents and request for information and assistance and dispatches appropriate vehicles as required. Maintains daily logs with all equipment movements, taxi passenger records, daily personnel assignments, housekeeping duties and training assignments. In case of emergencies, the dispatcher must notify all appropriate personnel. Communications are mainly by radio.

Familiarity with record keeping in MAXIMO desired. Performs other duties as assigned.

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Clear written and spoken English.
• Two years call center or dispatcher experience.
• Ability to type 30 words per minute.
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Must possess a valid state drivers' license.
• Must have and wear hard-toed safety shoes which meet ASTM F2413-05.
• Successful candidate will be subject to a government security investigation and must continually meet eligibility requirements for access to all areas of Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization.
