The RCAM Carpentry Lab Instructor will be responsible for developing and delivering standardized lab content to support industrial training programs in a hands‑on lab environment.

• Deliver carpentry lab training content
• Serve as Subject Matter Expert for advanced development work of industrial programs
• Drive improvement in process effectiveness and efficiency
• Promote the carpentry program to recruit apprentices/students from area businesses and high schools
• Adhere to RCAM schedule and inclement weather policies, which may differ from other NESCC schedules and/or closures.
• Complete other assignments as directed by supervision.

• Must be craft qualified at the journeyman level in Carpentry.
• Experience working in a construction setting.

• AS Degree in a related field.
• Experience teaching Carpentry.
• NCCER Certified Instructor.

  MS Office skills, Word, Excel, Access; digital records management systems; general operating systems and data information systems.
• Must be capable of learning new technology and apply the new technology in the lab environment.

This position is grant-funded. Continued employment is contingent upon grant funding.
