Solar O&M Site Manager - Obion County, TN

Lead Solar Technician – Operations & Maintenance team.

• Ensure operation of all assigned assets within regulatory guidelines.
• Implement and enforce safety practices and policies across assigned assets.
• Review and report monthly outcomes for Safety and Environmental KPIs (MTD & YTD).
• Manage execution of plant activities from Planned Work Orders.
• Maintain budget and schedule performance of projects within the region (Opex, Capex, Regulatory, Improvement).
• Coordinate with Maintenance Planner to assign personnel and schedule real‑time Work Orders.
• Report on monthly KPI results for production, energy availability, Opex, Capex, and planned vs. unplanned activities.
• Identify methods to increase project efficiency and implement capital improvement projects.
• Coordinate technician on‑call team schedules.
• Act as local point of interface and coordination with:
  Control and Monitoring Room, Planning, Engineering, Purchasing, and Knowledge Management.
• Monitor site performance via SCADA, CMR, Network Manager, Remote Desktop, and SAP.
• Ensure full and accurate use of SAP for asset management.
• Review and close Work Orders and notifications for completeness and accuracy, including data entry, scheduling, location, services, materials, and documentation.
• Manage local plant inventory and conduct inventory audits.
• Coordinate and execute all outages to control costs and minimize downtime.
• Support E&C and Business Development by reviewing technical specifications and project plans for new projects or major upgrades.
• Write technical documents for CMR, SOPs, and other plant processes.
• Partner with Knowledge Management Group to implement a qualification and continuous improvement program for technicians.
• Manage development, updates, and implementation of plant operations, maintenance, and safety procedures.

• 8+ years of operations and maintenance or construction experience, or a Bachelor of Science in Engineering plus 4+ years relevant experience. Preference for solar or renewable energy background.
• CMRP certification required (tested within 6 months of hire and certified within 12 months).
• Demonstrated initiative and drive for high achievement and continuous improvement.
• Good communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work off‑hours as needed.
• Ability to comment on legal documents and agreements.
• 50% travel required (domestic and international).
• NFPA 70E training.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Project, and Excel.
• Preferred IT tool knowledge: SAP, SAP PM, Power BI.
• Physical ability to climb ladders, stairs, and perform site inspections.
• Valid driver’s license operable in all 50 U.S. states and Canada with a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3–5 years).
