Mine Engineer

Location: Crab Orchard, Tennessee

Travel: Up to 15% as required

What you'll be doing
  • Develop short and long-term mine plans that optimise production, reserves and operational performance.
  • Deliver surveying, geological analysis and quality control activities to support efficient mining operations.
  • Monitor ground support, ventilation and mine conditions, identifying trends and driving safe operational decisions.
  • Partner with mine leadership on technical projects while stepping into operational leadership when required.
What you'll bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Geology or a related engineering discipline.
  • 1-3 years' experience within an underground mining environment, with internships also considered.
  • Experience, or the ability to quickly develop expertise, in mine planning, surveying and CAD-based software.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate effectively across operational and technical teams.
