Are you an experienced Automation Project Manager with a track record of delivering large-scale DeltaV projects within highly regulated pharmaceutical environments?
We are partnering with a growing organization seeking an Automation Project Manager to lead the execution of complex automation and digital transformation initiatives across pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities. This position will play a critical role in overseeing project delivery from concept through commissioning, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with GMP standards.
Responsibilities- Lead the delivery of large-scale DeltaV automation projects within pharmaceutical manufacturing environments.
- Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, and stakeholder expectations.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including automation engineers, process engineers, validation specialists, quality teams, and external vendors.
- Drive automation project execution through design, implementation, testing, commissioning, and qualification phases.
- Oversee risk management activities and proactively resolve technical and project-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, GAMP 5, FDA, and industry regulatory requirements.
- Provide regular project updates to leadership and key stakeholders.
- Support capital project planning and long-term automation strategies across manufacturing sites.
- Manage relationships with system integrators, EPC firms, and automation vendors.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Automation, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Industry experience within pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences manufacturing.
- Proven experience managing large-scale Emerson DeltaV projects.
- Strong understanding of batch process automation and distributed control systems (DCS).
- Experience leading projects through FAT, SAT, commissioning, qualification, and startup.
- Working knowledge of GMP, GAMP 5, CSV, and validation requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
