Job Title: Financial Controller
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Pay scale: $85,000 - $95,000/yr
Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, 401(k)
Job Location: On-Site Position
Job Type: Salaried Exempt, Full-time, Direct Internal Hire
Overview: Oversees the company's financial operations, ensuring accuracy in reporting and strong internal controls. This role partners closely with senior leadership to support strategic decision-making.
Essential Job Functions
- Manage month-end and year-end close
- Prepare and distribute financial statements and supplemental reports
- Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures
- Assist with the annual budget process
- Oversee Accounts Payable
- Oversee Accounts Receivable
- Oversee all accounting operations
- Manage business licensing
- Complete annual tangible personal property tax returns
- Coordinate external audits and act as the primary liaison with auditors
- Assist branch and office staff with accounting and finance questions
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Chief Financial Officer
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required
- CPA or CMA certification preferred, but not required
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred, but not required
- Advanced proficiency in Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and within deadlines
- Dependable and punctual
- Positive attitude and professional demeanor
