Investor Relations Leader

Responsibilities
- Support the preparation of quarterly earnings releases, investor presentations, management scripts, and Q&A materials.
- Assist in drafting SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K) in coordination with Accounting, Legal, and Finance teams.
- Translate complex financial and operational data into clear, compelling narratives for the investment community.
- Build and maintain productive relationships with institutional investors and sell-side equity analysts.
- Serve as a knowledgeable and credible point of contact for investor inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
- Help coordinate non-deal roadshows, investor days, industry conferences, and earnings calls.
- Monitor and synthesize sell-side research, analyst models, and shareholder feedback; distill key themes for senior leadership.
- Track and benchmark peer company performance (e.g., specialty chemicals sector), capital markets trends, and valuation dynamics.
- Maintain an informed view of how macroeconomic trends and industry dynamics (e.g., circular economy, molecular recycling) affect investor sentiment toward Eastman.
- Work closely with Finance, Treasury, Corporate Strategy, Business, Legal, and Communications teams to gather insights and ensure message alignment.
- Support scenario planning around capital allocation decisions, guidance, and shareholder return communications (dividends, buybacks).
- Ensure all investor communications adhere to SEC Regulation FD, disclosure policies, and Eastman's governance standards.
- Maintain IR operational infrastructure, including CRM/investor databases and IR platforms.
Qualifications
- Education:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field - Experience:
5+ years in investor relations, equity research, investment banking, corporate finance, or a related capital markets role - Industry: Experience in or exposure to chemicals, industrials, materials, or adjacent sectors preferred
- Technical
Skills:
Advanced proficiency in Bloomberg (or equivalent), Excel and PowerPoint; experience in financial modeling and financial statement analysis - Communication:
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to synthesize and simplify complex topics - Regulatory Knowledge:
Working knowledge of SEC disclosure requirements and Regulation FD
