The location in Kingsport, (Tennessee, United States), is seeking talent to fill the position of FP&A Manager - Packaging Business
. This job is full-time permanent.

Reporting to the Mill Controller, the Senior Financial Analystwillhave responsibilityforanalyzing and interpreting complex financial and operational data, leading efforts to identify cost reduction opportunities,and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting for theMill.

• Coordinate and participate in month-end close process by maintaining closing checklist, preparing financial entries, performing account reconciliationsandvariance analysis, and other various tasks required to ensure a timely and accurateperiodend close

• EnsureSOX and GAAP compliance
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and analysis
• Supportinternaldepartment reporting requirements such as audit requests,tax schedules,andannual government reporting

• Facilitate annual budget and quarterly forecasting process including fixed spending review, salesandproduction forecasting, labor, energy, raw materials, etc.
• Proactively identifymanufacturingcosttrends that impactthe business and financial results
• Lead / manage team of accountants and accounting clerks including, but not limited to: establishing clear expectations and formulating department and individual goals, assessing and communicating performance of staff, developing and motivating staff, developing a teamwork environment, and setting priorities for staff and resolving conflicts within the team.

• Partner with department leaders to provide financial data and business supporttodrive continuous improvement, capital project justifications, cost savings initiatives,andvariousad hoc analysis to drive financial results
• Maintain and support internal control frameworkin business areas

• Responsibleforanalyzing and interpreting complex financial and operational data, leading efforts to identify cost reduction opportunities,and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting across the Mill.

• Demonstrate an above-average understanding for business processes and controls across finance and related support systems
• Self-starter with the ability to learnand grasp new concepts quickly with little oversight
• Strong business acumen along with analytical, problem solving,and decision-making skills

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with other departments across the site and corporation
