Cytology Prep Tech/Special Procedures Assistant
Seeking a dependable individual, with great work ethic and people skills, and a high level of professionalism to assist with specimen preparation during on site special procedures for a busy anatomic pathology laboratory located in Kingsport, TN.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Positive interaction with co-workers and other staff consistent with core values of the company
- Processing GYN and Non-GYN specimens
- Filling supply orders
- Maintain inventory and stock supplies
- Sending specimens out for reference testing
- Good record keeping skills and attention to detail are critical
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is a plus
- Ability to multi-task
This is a full-time position Monday-Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm.
