Schedule /

Hours:

• Night shifts
• 3 shifts per week
• 12 hours per shift (18:30 - 07:00)

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care on medical-surgical units
• Participate in clinical education and support of nursing students, fostering the next generation of healthcare professionals
• Adapt to floating across different units as needed, providing versatile nursing support
• Engage in general orientation with a combination of online and in-person training
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to ensure high standards of care and patient safety

Qualifications & Desired

Experience:

• Registered Nurse with at least 1 year of professional experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Experience working in a community hospital setting
• Willingness to complete additional training including NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) preferred
• Open to first-time travelers and able to reside more than 100 miles from the hospital
• Commitment to flexible scheduling and support of fluctuating census demands with options for additional shifts or occasional canceled shifts without penalty

Additional Details:

• Orientation includes 16 hours of nonbillable training with Sunday online modules
• Assigned schedules follow 36/36 or 36/48 hour rotation, ensuring balanced workload
• Participation in educational programs for nursing students alongside clinical duties
