• Prepare and cook meals according to established dietary guidelines and menus.
• Ensure all food is prepared in a safe, sanitary, and timely manner.
• Follow special dietary instructions for patients or residents, including allergies and restrictions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food preparation areas.
• Assist with inventory management and proper storage of food items.
• Collaborate with dietary staff and management to meet nutritional standards and customer satisfaction.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.

• Previous experience as a cook, preferably in a healthcare or dietary setting.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary instructions accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as required.
