Travel RN - Med​/Surg

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Medical Surgical unit with telemetry experience required, working night shifts on a 36-hour weekly schedule.

Job Details

• Acute care medical surgical and bariatric unit setting,

• Night shift schedule: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM (3x12-hour shifts per week),

• Every other weekend required,

• Patient ratio of 1:7,

• Floating is required,

• 13-week contract,

Job Requirements

• Active TN or Compact RN license required at time of consideration,

• Current AHA BLS certification required (AHA only),

• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience required,

• Med/Surg with telemetry (MS/Tele) experience required,

• Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible,

• Two supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration,

Additional Information

• Orientation begins on Sundays with online computer-based learning (CBLs),

• Contract RNs are expected to actively support nursing student clinical education alongside their regular patient care responsibilities,
