Tier III - Help Desk Support Specialist

Franklin, TN Area | Onsite | Part-Time to Start

A growing organization in the Franklin area is seeking a Tier III Help Desk Support Specialist to provide hands‑on technical support across several local office locations. This position will serve as the primary point of contact for day‑to‑day user support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring a positive technology experience for employees. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with end users, solving practical technology challenges, and supporting a modern Microsoft‑based environment.

You'll partner closely with IT leadership while helping maintain smooth day‑to‑day operations.

• Serve as the first point of contact for employee technology support requests
• Manage, prioritize, document, and resolve tickets through the help desk system
• Provide onsite desktop support for Windows devices, Microsoft 365 applications, and common workplace technologies
• Troubleshoot Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, and related Microsoft applications
• Assist with laptop deployment, device setup, imaging, and configuration
• Support printers, monitors, docking stations, mobile devices, and other peripherals
• Install approved software and coordinate routine workstation upgrades
• Provide basic conference room and audiovisual support
• Travel between nearby office locations as needed
• Escalate advanced infrastructure or networking issues to appropriate resources
• Maintain technical documentation and identify opportunities to improve support processes

• Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel)

• Fully onsite position
• Typical business hours between 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM
• Flexible scheduling available based on business needs and candidate availability

• Previous Help Desk, Desktop Support, or IT Support experience
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to troubleshoot common hardware, software, and Microsoft 365 issues
  
  Experience working directly with end users in a professional environment
• Organized approach to documentation and ticket management
• Self‑starter who can work independently while collaborating with the broader team
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally between nearby office locations

• $20-$24/hour
