Project Manager, Program ​/ Project Manager, General Management

This is a mid-level, part-time contract position with an INDEPENDENT CREATIVE AGENCY, which consists of approximately 10-15 hours per week. Applicants should be available during our normal office hours, Monday through Friday, 9am–5pm ET. There is an opportunity for growth.

This role leverages strong prioritization, organization, communication, and decision-making skills to ensure timely and budget-conscious management of creative projects while also fostering client relationships and streamlining agency operations.

In this role, you will:

• Vet new creative requests and follow up with stakeholders for details.
• Assign tasks, establish priorities, and monitor and track agency projects to ensure project milestones are achieved on time and within budget.
• Manage bottlenecks and roadblocks in project workflow by coordinating with staff, contractors, clients, and vendors, redistributing work, and adjusting timelines accordingly.
• Lead weekly production meetings.
• Manage client onboarding and off-boarding processes; serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining regular communication to gather feedback, provide updates, and manage expectations.
• Understand and define internal processes to increase efficiency.
• Participate in meetings with agency owner and/or team members as needed including post-project reviews to evaluate project performance, identify lessons learned, and implement improvements for future projects.
• Proactively communicate with team members, clients, and vendors in an open manner to ensure all client work products are delivered on time and within budget.
• Monitor and provide time and budget reports with insights to the agency owner monthly.

• Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field.
• A minimum of five (5) years of project management experience with an in-house design team or creative agency.
• Advanced experience using time tracking and project management software.
• Excellent organizational, prioritization, decision-making, and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Collaboration skills to work effectively within a small team.
• Ability to anticipate needs and close the loop.

• Experience with , Dubsado, Dropbox, Toggl, Acuity, and Google Workspace
• Experience in branding, graphic design, and websites is a plus
