American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical/Surgical travel assignment requiring telemetry experience, night shifts, and a minimum of 2 years of acute care experience.
Details- Acute care medical/surgical and bariatric unit
- Night shift schedule: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM (3x12-hour shifts)
- 36-hour weekly work commitment
- Every other weekend required
- Floating to other units required
- 1:7 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Active TN or Compact RN license required at time of consideration
- Current AHA BLS certification required (AHA only)
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg and Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
- Two supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible
- Orientation begins on Sundays with online computer-based learning (CBLs)
- Contract nurses are expected to support nursing students and participate in clinical education alongside regular patient care duties
