MDS Coordinator (RN)
A nursing home near Kingsport, TN is seeking a detail-oriented and organized MDS Coordinator (RN) to join our team. If you have a passion for resident care, clinical accuracy, and interdisciplinary collaboration, we'd love to hear from you.
What You’ll Do:- Coordinate and complete the MDS assessment process in accordance with federal and state regulations.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of MDS assessments, care area assessments, and care plans.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and update individualized care plans.
- Monitor Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement opportunities while maintaining compliance.
- Review documentation to ensure accuracy and support reimbursement.
- Participate in quality assurance and regulatory compliance activities.
- Educate and support nursing staff regarding documentation and MDS requirements.
- Current unrestricted RN license for the state of Tennessee
- RAC Certified
- Previous MDS experience
