Night coverage at open emergency department with ICU support supporting approximately 93 encounters daily

Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking a Nurse Practitioner for emergency medicine coverage in Kingsport, Tennessee. This locum tenens role involves overnight shifts in an open facility offering ICU access and a dedicated critical care team. Providers in this position will handle acute patient cases within the emergency medicine scope, with potential mentorship or proctorship support for new graduates depending on site needs.

• Setting:
  Open Emergency Department with ICU access
• Coverage:
  Night shifts only, including scheduled overnight coverage (7p-7a, 8p-6a, etc.)

• Managing acute and critical cases with ICU support from a critical care team
• Documenting patient encounters in the EMR system
• Managing immunization and testing protocols (MMR, Varicella, TB/QuantiFERON)
• Documenting case logs for the past two years
• Completing initial and ongoing CME in Preeclampsia-Eclampsia

• Active Tennessee DEA and CDS licenses with Tennessee address
• Certification through AANP or ANCC for Nurse Practitioners; NCCPA certification for Physician Assistants
• Documentation of case logs for the past 2 years
