Job Title:

NDE Technician – Level II

• Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment
• Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect defects using NDT methods of inspection
• Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection while ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations
• Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results
• Interpret radiographs, cathode ray tubes (CRT) or digital readouts, conductivity meters, and visual indicators
• Organize and report test results
• Perform specialized inspections
• Instruct and supervise others as needed
• Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management

• NDT Level II RT with on‑the‑job training and state card
• Preferred experience:
  
  NDT Level II MT, PT, UTT
• Technical background in NDT methods and procedures
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must test out in all required methods with XCEL

• Demonstrated ability to effectively perform assigned NDT tasks and interpret inspection results
• Thorough knowledge of NDT equipment
• Complete and pass a DISA background check
• Complete and pass all required drug screens
• Complete and pass site‑specific safety council requirements

• Move, carry and lift objects in excess of 50 pounds
• Climb and perform work from ladders, stairs and scaffolding in excess of 100 feet continuously throughout shift
• Climb ladders and platforms up to 250 feet with a harness and lanyard
• Step up into vehicles or onto equipment
• Work extended hours and stand for extended periods of time
