Sales Associate | Reports Sales Supervisor

JOB SUMMARY: The sales associate position is responsible for maintaining customer service, generating sales, housekeeping, merchandising, signing, pricing, cash register operations (POS) and loss prevention in adherence to all company policy/store standards.

• Ensure each customer receives outstanding customer service by providing a customer friendly environment, including greeting and acknowledging every customer, maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge and all other components of customer service.
• Maintain an awareness of all product information, merchandise promotions, test merchandise, advertisements and donations.
• Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance and store housekeeping.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures and practices, including signing, pricing, and loss prevention.
• Accurately and efficiently complete all sales transactions and maintain proper cash and POS registers.
• Assist in processing and replenishing merchandise; participate in receiving and monitoring floor stock; and ensure merchandise is placed in the correct department.
• Regulates dressing rooms for loss prevention and customer service.
• Communicate customer requests to management.
• Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

• Proficient in the use of a personal computer and corresponding programs

• Education:
  
  High School diploma/GED preferred
• Experience:
  
  1-3 years of retail/customer service preferred
