Safety Emergency Response Senior Supervisor

Lead the Safety Emergency Response Team at SK On Tennessee and develop and implement safety programs to prevent injuries, fires, and other workplace accidents.

• Oversee workplace inspections to identify and mitigate safety hazards.
• Supervise the creation and delivery of safety training programs for employees on safe working practices, equipment operation, and emergency procedures.
• Assess the impact of training programs on organizational safety and accident rates, and recommend curriculum modifications as needed.
• Investigate incidents or accidents, gather and analyze statistics, and recommend improvements.
• Prepare and submit accident reports in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements.
• Direct and coordinate the work of safety response employees, including incidents involving fire, chemical spills, and alarms.
• Ensure incident reports are completed and error‑proofed before shift end.
• Ensure trainings for high‑angle rescue and confined space rescue are completed.
• Perform personnel decisions related to hiring, performance, or disciplinary actions as a LevelII supervisor.
• Maintain effective relationships with hospital staff, fire departments, rescue squads, police departments, communications centers, and the general public.

• 5+ years of safety and emergency response experience.
• Current certification as FirefighterI/II from a national accredited organization.
• Prior supervisory experience.
• Minimum age 18.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with employees, external agencies, and the public.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong conflict‑resolution skills with sound judgment, professionalism, and courtesy.
• Pass a background check.
• Successfully complete the ERT physical agility requirements.
• CPR certification.

• OSHA
  10 certification (required within 12 months of hire).
• Apparatus Operator (Pumper/Aerial) certification (required within 12 months of hire).
