McCoy Construction & Forestry, a John Deere dealership group with 25 locations across the Midwest and East South Central Regions, has an opening for a Field Service Technician.

McCoy Construction & Forestry, a growing John Deere construction and forestry dealership, is looking for a skilled Field Service Technician to join the team in KINGSPORT.

• Travel on location to examine machines to diagnose and repair a multitude of mechanical and system issues.
• Fabricate special lifting or towing attachments, hydraulic systems, shields, or other devices according to blueprints or schematic drawings.
• Maintain a clean work area, shop tools, truck, and equipment.
• Ensure work is performed safely and safe work procedures are followed throughout the department.

• Minimum of 5 years of heavy equipment‑customer facing experience, heavy equipment construction & forestry diesel technology experience.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and Forklift Certification.
• Ability to build relationships with customers while providing high‑quality customer service.
• Excellent communication, organizational and leadership skills.
• Problem‑solving aptitude.
• Exceptional field truck aesthetics are designed to excel in the field while maintaining a professional image.

• Hourly wage is $30.00 to $50.00 based on experience.
• 80 hours in your first year, allowing for work‑life balance and personal needs.
• $150 Annual Work Boot allowance and a $200 Annual Prescription Safety Glasses allowance.
