Enhance small business tax strategies as a Tax Advisor with FBC in Kingston, ON. This hybrid role involves daily in-person visits to FBC Members across the region.
FBC is seeking a full-time Tax Advisor & Preparer to support Members, especially in Belleville and neighboring areas. You will provide tailored tax strategies and advice while building long-lasting relationships. Proficiency in accounting practices and excellent client service skills are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide accurate tax and accounting advice to Members
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients
• Identify needs and connect Members with specialists
• Maintain accurate records of interactions and services
• Prepare and file T1 and T2 tax returns for Members
Requirements:
• Minimum 1 year experience in tax preparation
• Proficiency in tax preparation software (Taxprep, Xero)
• Strong understanding of CRA regulations
• Experience with tax returns for small businesses
• Corporate tax return preparation preferred
