TD Wealth, Private Wealth Management (PWM) provides high-net worth (HNW) clients with holistic discovery and planning toward customized wealth advice and solutions. PWM leverages a distinct discovery process and an integrated, team-based approach to build a wealth strategy that reflects each client's unique needs.

Wealth Insurance Services offer comprehensive insurance-based solutions to assist clients in creating, preserving and transitioning their wealth through a number of tax-advantaged strategies utilizing insurance products manufactured by leading third-party carriers.

This role is responsible for analyzing and building relationships with HNW clients to provide sophisticated insurance strategies as part of the client’s overall financial plan.

Accountabilities

Support HNW & UHNW clients and develop comprehensive tax efficient, profitable plans addressing insurance coverage.

Generate life insurance sales and manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting through application to ongoing service.

Collaborate with various channels within TD Wealth Management for client access.

Work with insurance carrier wholesalers to build awareness and promote solutions within TD Wealth offices.

Promote full suite of Estate Planning products, services and banking capabilities.

Develop and implement sales strategies to attract, acquire and retain clients and increase profitability.

Support timely and accurate completion of business processes and procedures.

Protect organizational interests by identifying and managing risk.

Maintain culture of risk management and control aligned with risk appetite.

Recommend best practices to improve products or services.

Stay current on emerging trends and grow knowledge of the business, related tools and techniques.

Requirements

University degree.

8 to 10 years of experience in the Canadian Life Insurance Industry (preferably sales).

Possess a CFP, CLU, CHFC or similar designation.

Must be life insurance licensed.

Deep understanding of investments, tax, legal issues associated with life insurance and related products.

Ability to lead by example managing complex account management processes.

Excellent communication and influencing skills.

Territory
Based in Kingston and covers the territory from Kingston to Peterborough and Ottawa.
