Responsibilities- Act as a subject matter expert in the branch for both customers and colleagues regarding all TD products, services, policies, and procedures, especially personal and business banking.
- Provide sound advice with every customer interaction, contributing to an exceptional customer experience.
- Discover and advise on meeting or exceeding customer needs by asking deeply curious and thoughtful questions.
- Improve customer financial confidence through ongoing dialogue and by answering questions.
- Engage in customer outreach (via phone, email, and other means) to discuss portfolio updates and additional opportunities best suited to the customer’s needs.
- Provide total financial reviews and make appropriate recommendations based on the customer’s personal circumstances.
- Ensure customer issues are resolved accurately and efficiently, escalating issues where necessary.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the local market, competitive offers, and economic trends to support advice recommendations.
- Assist with maintaining a skilled and inviting space in all common areas of the branch, adhering to premises, marketing, and regulatory guidelines.
- Support the frontline with transactions as necessary.
- Act as an escalation and support point for complex issues, coordinating efforts with others to maintain service, process, and product standards.
- Contribute to business objectives by proactively attracting, acquiring, and retaining customers/advice opportunities and referrals.
- Promote and offer the full suite of TD products, advice, services, and banking capabilities.
- Support timely and accurate completion of business processes and procedures.
- Protect the interests of the organization by identifying and managing risks and escalating non‑standard, high‑risk transactions or activities.
- Ensure documentation is accurate, reflects customer/business intentions, and complies with relevant rules and regulations.
- Identify, suggest, and participate proactively in process improvement opportunities.
- Maintain a culture of risk management and control, aligned with risk appetite and compliance requirements.
- Participate fully as a member of the team, support a positive work environment, enhance knowledge, share best practices, assist colleagues, and contribute to team and business success.
- High school diploma and/or 1+ years of relevant experience.
- Post‑secondary or undergraduate degree in a related field preferred.
- In‑field certifications (e.g., IFC or CSC CFSA) to be completed upon hire.
- Specialized expertise in a range of TD products, services, and processes, capable of handling moderate to high complexity and risk.
- Strong communication skills, ability to explain complex ideas concisely, and manage sensitive customer information.
- Leadership and escalation capabilities, coordinating with multiple teams to resolve complex issues.
- Proactive mindset toward compliance, risk management, and continuous improvement.
