Queen’s University is inviting applications for the role of Vice-Principal (Finance and Administration), commencing in early 2027. This vital leadership position requires substantial experience in finance and administration, overseeing key portfolios. You will work closely with the Principal and Deans to allocate resources and manage institutional risks while fostering a culture of transparency and ethical decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide strategic financial leadership and enterprise stewardship
• Collaborate on long-term resource allocation and capital investment
• Oversee Financial Administration, IT, Facilities, and HR
• Lead initiatives supporting equity and inclusion across the university
• Establish external relations with key stakeholders and partners
Requirements:
• Undergraduate degree; relevant graduate degree preferred
• Extensive senior leadership experience in finance/admin
• Experience in public-sector organizations preferred
• Strong financial acumen and compliance expertise
• Commitment to I-EDIAA principles and Queen’s Indigenization
Drive collaborative financial strategies and support Queen’s mission of public good as Vice-Principal.
