Plant Maintenance Manager

As the Plant Maintenance Manager
, you will be responsible for overseeing activities and staff in the management of the efficient maintenance of equipment at WM's newest Material Recover Facility (MRF) in Roblin, ON.

• Lead a team of maintenance technicians, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
• Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic equipment.
• Ensure that equipment is repaired and returned to service in a safe and timely manner.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and upgrades.
• Maintain CMMS data, parts inventory, and maintenance records.
• Support startup and commissioning of new equipment.
• Train and develop team members to build a culture of accountability, safety and high performance.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Responsible for planning, budgeting, staffing, discipline, and implementation of all maintenance initiatives and programs.
• Promote a safe work environment in compliance with Corporate and OHSA requirements.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (High School/GED + 4 years).
• 7+ years of maintenance experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory/leadership role.
• Experience in industrial or manufacturing settings (waste/recycling is a plus).
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems; especially related to conveyors, screens and optical sorters.
• Red Seal, Millwright, or similar trade certification preferred.

The expected base pay range for this on-site position in Napanee is $100,000 - $110,000. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for bonus.
