Position: Hydrogeologist for Groundwater Protection
Contribute to safeguarding Ontario's groundwater as a Hydrogeologist with the Ontario Public Service. This role emphasizes field investigations and scientific advising in environmental response situations.
In this critical position, you'll play a vital role as a Hydrogeologist dedicated to protecting Ontario's groundwater resources. You will engage in reviewing technical reports, designing and conducting field investigations, and providing scientific counsel during environmental crises. Your expertise will not only aid in compliance with health standards but also prepare you for legal contributions regarding groundwater management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review technical reports on hydrogeological impacts

• Design field investigations for environmental assessments

• Provide scientific advice during emergencies

• Present scientific findings to stakeholders

• Prepare legal documents related to groundwater
Requirements:

• Registered geoscientist with PGO or equivalent

• Degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, or Earth Sciences

• Valid class 'G' driver's license required

• Knowledge of hydrogeology and environmental laws

• Strong investigative and project management skills
